To start your Hungry Bin, you need to fill the bin ¾ full with moist bedding material such as compost, soil, potting mix, paper or cardboard. Add a minimum of 2,000 worms. Add finely chopped food scraps. Cover the food scraps with damp newspaper or a hessian sack.
