Starting with the minimum of 2,000 worms, Hungry Bin can take 6 months to become running at its maximum optimization. Worms can eat their body weight in food each day – so you must feed the same volume of food as there are worms in order to not overfeed them. (Overfeeding worms will lead to rotting food which will lead to unwanted visitors). However, if you slowly increase the amount you feed the worms the population will multiply. A fully functioning bin will hold about 6.5 lbs of worms.
